Miss Gianna in the hangar at Reno. Named for Owner/Pilot Jeffrey Lo's daughter Gianna, she is a Pitts LR-1 capable of flying at over 250 mph, which makes her the world's fastest Pitts Special. Miss Gianna's fuel control system is Precision Airmotive's Silver Hawk, model EX-10VA1. She was scratch built as a racer by Cris Ferguson of C&H Aircraft Restoration. The "LR" in Miss Gianna's model designation stands for "Lo Racer." |
